On the planet Petaluma, Captain Elena Reddy (ROBIN RIKER) tries to understand the horrible punishment that has befallen Major Nikama Shiksaa (EMILY RIEMAN). The Major has just completed her one-year tour of duty as the Visalian Exchange Officer aboard the Starship Starship, but reported back to Visalia two minutes late. As tardiness is a crime on Visalia, she was sentenced to the worst possible punishment--fifty years of forced leisure. But since the tardiness was determined to be Captain Reddy's fault, the Major has instead had her sentence commuted and must now wear a frilly "Born to Shop" hat while she accompanies Drakfor, husband of the Grand Leader of Visalia, to the "Our Planet Is About To Be Incinerated When Our Sun Goes Nova" sale on Petaluma.
